Rower Drop:
- 6:45am @ Regatta Site
- Parents are responsible for providing transportation to/from the regatta site.
- Rowers are not allowed to drive themselves.
- Athletes should be dropped off in the La Salle Park parking area and then walk down Rotary Row to the boathouse & trailer area.
- Drop Location: La Salle Park
- Boathouse (trailer location): West Side Rowing Club's boathouse
Important Times:
- Coach's & Cox's Meeting: 7:00am
- First Event: 8:00am
- Last Race: TBD (likely mid-afternoon)
Parking:
- Families should be able to find parking in La Salle Park and along DAR Drive.
Rower Dress Code:
- Athletes are to where their blue Pittsford Crew tank tops with black or blue shorts (NOT their unisuits).
- Sunblock and hats are strongly encouraged (expect a long, hot day in the sun).
Hospitality:
- There will be no club-provided hospitality for this event.
- Rowers should eat breakfast before arriving.
- Rowers should bring a lunch.
- Rowers should bring snacks.
- Rowers should bring a water bottle (water is available at the West Side Boathouse).
General Reminders:
- Rowers are reminded to NOT bring hammocks.
- Rowers must stay on the West Side property for the duration of the regatta
- All awards will be presented at the end of the day at the trailer, prior to departure, AFTER the trailer is fully packed.
- Rowers cannot depart until all boats are derigged, loaded and the trailer is fully packed.
Boundaries:
- Athletes must remain at the regatta throughout the entire day.
- Athletes must remain within the venue boundaries (see image).
- The area between the trailers (south), observation tower (north), bike path (east), and river (west) - marked in purple in the image to the right (click to enlarge).
- If an athlete must leave the race venue during the day, they must discuss their situation with, and obtain permission from, their coach before the regatta and notify their coach just prior to leaving the venue.
