WHAT: This is an opportunity for area middle, junior and high school students to learn the sport of rowing. During the two week session, rowers will learn safety procedures, rowing techniques, and will quickly progress to rowing on the water. Any one who did the Learn To Row program in a prior year but didn't continue into the Novice High School program is eligible to take the Advanced Learn To Row option. Advanced programs will run in the afternoon of sessions two and three.
WHO: Any boys and girls entering grades 8 through 12 in the Fall 2009. Also, it is not recommended to miss more than 2 days of camp. If you must miss at least 3 days, please do not sign up for the camp, as the boat highly relies on the attendance of all to make the camp a success. Anyone who has done LTR in the past but has not continued into a high school novice program is eligible to participate in the Advanced Learn to Row Option. Advanced programs will run afternoons during the July 13-July 25 and the July 27-August 8 sessions.
